About the Facility

Casa Esperanza offers a vast, upscale residential setting that supports mental health and addiction recovery, spread over 10 acres. It comprises two distinct buildings, each with its own purpose and charm. You have the option of selecting a semi-private or private room based on your preferences.

Casa Esperanza includes two residences: one with five comfortable bedrooms and the other with four. Both houses provide a welcoming environment for clients. The main facility also offers amenities such as a fully equipped gym and a chef run dining hall, enhancing the overall experience.

Meditation Groups

Starting to meditate often starts with mindfulness. This involves staying in the present moment and creating distance between your emotions and behaviors — a challenging task, yet achievable with proper guidance and assistance.

Another way we can help you learn how to stay grounded and self-soothe in the face of overwhelming feelings is through breath work. When emotions run high, it’s common for people to hyperventilate or take short, shallow breaths. By learning how to regulate your breathing, you can gain more control over your thoughts and feelings.   

Life Skills Groups

Mental disorders and substance abuse stem from a complex blend of genetics, life events, and societal factors. While not universal, many individuals can struggle with life skills due to their mental health issues.

Excessive consumption of processed foods and sugar can adversely affect mental health, whereas exercise stands out as a key method to enhance physical and mental endurance. One notable aspect of our programs is the emphasis on instilling structure in your life without imposing rigidity or constraints.

Process Groups

Process groups play a crucial role in therapy by imparting practical skills and aiding therapists in understanding your needs. By navigating challenges alongside others, you gain insights and experience the empowerment of voicing your truth. Hearing about others’ struggles offers new perspectives, enhancing self-awareness and nurturing empathy.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy, led by our qualified professionals, is a crucial component. Each week, residents engage in a minimum of two one-on-one therapy sessions with their primary therapist and at least one psychiatric session.

These sessions involve discussions on upbringing, life experiences, and goals, aiming to identify triggers and establish coping strategies with the support of a mental health professional.

Goal Review

When you’re working toward something, the more clearly and accurately you define the end result you’re seeking, the better able you are to get there. From day one, we help you set short, medium- and long-term goals and intentions and periodically assess progress. We also show you how to document, track and review goals for optimal results.
